Check the whole nerve
Wrist, forearm, shoulder and neck testing to find where the problem really is and what is really causing it.
Carpal Tunnel produces tingling, numbness and pain in your hand, often worse at night. Treatment focuses on easing pressure on the nerve and the causes behind it.
Tingling or numbness in your thumb, index and middle fingers
Symptoms that wake you at night or are worse in the morning
Aching into your wrist, forearm or up your arm
A weak grip, or dropping things
Carpal tunnel syndrome happens when the median nerve is squeezed as it passes through a narrow channel in your wrist. Repetitive hand use, wrist position at work, pregnancy and some health conditions can all contribute as well as simple tension in the forearm muscles and wrist joint stiffness.
Similar symptoms can also come from the neck, so checking the whole length of the nerve matters before deciding on treatment.
