Assessment
Whether ultrasound is useful for your particular injury. Its useful for soft tissue sprains and strains as well as inflamed Bursa's.
Therapeutic ultrasound applied to injured soft tissue, used alongside hands-on treatment and rehab.
Therapeutic ultrasound passes sound waves through the skin into the soft tissues using a small handheld head and gel. It's painless, and you'll usually feel little more than mild warmth.
I use it alongside other treatments for some soft tissue injuries, never on its own.

A few minutes over the area, using gel and a handheld head.
Hands-on work and exercises in the same session.
Not sure what's causing your pain? You don't need to pick a treatment. I'll assess you and recommend what suits your injury.
Can I just book this treatment?
You can, but most people leave it to me. Every session is 45 minutes and the same price, and I'll combine whichever methods your injury needs. You can always say no to any technique.
Do I need a referral from my GP?
No. You can book directly. If I think you need a scan or a GP's opinion, I'll tell you.
What should I wear?
No specific clothing is required
Tell me roughly what's going on and I'll recommend the right treatment. I'll get back to you as soon as I'm out of clinic.
